Consumer electronics are electronic equipment intended for everyday use and include devices used for entertainment, communications and recreation.
In recent years, the online sales of these products have undergone a strong surge, partly due to the pandemic and post-pandemic situation: while sales in traditional stores have registered a slight decline, the online channel has instead established itself: a significant growth, thanks to the increase in online purchases by the Italian and world population.
How to sell on consumer electronics marketplaces?
During the event, we observed and analyzed the potential of the online marketplace sales channel for the reference sector, with a special focus on Cyber Week and Christmas Season, and we talked about the opportunities and complexities that a company have to face in order to maximize sales on these digital platforms by interacting with industry operators and well-known brands.
Thanks to the data from the BrandOn Observatory, we analyzed the marketplaces demand for Cyber Week 2022 by comparing it with that one of the last years (2020 – 2021) and we provided forecasts for the next month, in view of Christmas last minute shopping!
